Wedding Hairstyles
You probably remember your wedding as if it were yesterday, right? How did you wear your hair? Most women can write a book on their
wedding hairstyles, since there were and are so many different ways you can wear your hair. Whether you have long hair, medium
length or short hair, every woman will find a style unique to them. Let’s take a look at some wedding hairstyles used today.
Some experts recommend the French twist, ballet bun or simple knot. Add a crown, and it changes your entire appearance. However, whether you
choose either style, the recommendation is to keep your hair styled off the neck and away from the face to give a more classic and elegant
look.
Others may choose to wear their hair half up and half down. This still keeps the hair out of your eyes, but invokes a natural look. This has
become a popular trend with most brides today. For others, long and natural is the way to go. It is estimated that more brides today are using
this wedding hairstyle as well. Finally, if you have short hair, it is recommended to add lots of body to your style. Perhaps adding curl and
volume to enhance the look is advised.
Some other types of wedding hairstyles include: For long hair, parting the hair at the side and pulled back from the face. You can also decide
on wavy flowing hair with a part on the side for an elegant yet natural look. Another style would consist of large waves of hair in a free
flowing movement, parted in the middle with a tiara produces an elegant look. Or the more traditional hair pulled back from the face, and parted
at the side with bangs.
For medium length hair, there are several choices. For example: you can part your hair on the side, and wear the rest half up and half down.
Another style would be to pull back your hair at the top and leave it very loose while the hair is pulled back tighter on the side with curls
around the face. Or perhaps an off center part with straight side bangs leaving the rest of the hair curled. If you have short hair, it can be
parted in the side and curl the rest for a wavy look.
Wedding hairstyles are unique to each and every woman. Depending on the gown and the veil, or if one has chosen not to wear a
veil but a tiara; there are so many styles to choose from. It depends on your taste, the tone of the wedding, and the type of hair you have.
Whatever you choose, it is ultimately your decision. While you can obtain many ideas from wedding magazines and online sites, in the end you
will know what’s right for you.
